Index for your Site

Does your site have an Index? In simpler words, Index for a site may be called a sitemap. What is a Sitemap, How will it help, My site is doing well without it or why do I need a sitemap? If any of these questions is out of your first reflexes, read on…
Let us first understand what a sitemap is. When we pick up a book we refer to the index of the book to locate the topic or area of interest in the book. Appling the same theory to a site, we will realize what a sitemap is and more importantly, how important it is.

Considering from a users point of view, when I need to find a particular point of interest in a site, rather than clicking on various pages and searching from the unknown, I would rather prefer if there’s any fix source for this.
Well no price for guessing what a user will do when he doesn’t finds the desired thing in a click or two. It’s a small world and your neighbor is only a click away!
It’s really simple to incorporate a Sitemap into a site but the benefits it drives are elusive. Another step on the march… Walk Ahead!!
